Mt Camel Beach

Mt Camel Beach is famous for its long golden sands and pristine wilderness. It sits at the southern tip of a spectacular coastal area known as the Chain of Bays (Venus Bay to Streaky Bay) which provides special habitats for a number of threatened species, including the Australian Sea Lion, White-Bellied Sea Eagle and Osprey and also provides habitats for many migratory birds. Mt Camel Beach's pristine coast is abundant with fauna and flora species, including wildflower season which is simply stunning.

OWNERS

Mt Camel Beach owners are from the Eyre Peninsula and bought the 250-acre heritage property back in 2000, as part of the new wave of private conservationists committed to securing 'fragile' ecosystems around the world. Mt Camel Beach will now remain protected, with the blessing of one fabulous eco-dwelling. The owners are adventurers who live and work globally between South Australia, California and Baja Mexico. At Camel Beach House their love for nature, travel, art and design, ocean and the desert has created a gorgeous space that's become a gem with adventurers and romantics, as well as executives wanting that special nature-fuelled getaway to balance a busy lifestyle.

We recommend all guests plan arrival to CBH before sunset to comfortably gain entry to property and avoid the dusk kangaroos on roads.
